Catherine or kitty as she was known was 96 and very independant indeed
she had one son Ron who was devoted to her (my dad) 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and unknown to her 2 great great grandchildren.
She passed away 3 jan 2007 after a lovely christmas with all her family around her.She had internal bleeding as the result of a fall on new years eve 2006 and was rushed to hospital 01 Jan 2007.She was about 5 ft but was the definate boss of our family and very much loved by all even though she could be extremely blunt to all of us, we wouldnt have had her any other way.
What she didnt know was that the day after she passed away my nephew was going to visit her with the news that his girlfriend was pregnant and he was going to take in the scan photo sadly she passed away before this could happen.
She was broken into 5 times and always said "oh well thet wont make me move house by doing this this just makes me more determined to stay"
Since nan has passed away I have had another baby boy Calum who is 8 weeks olld who she would have adored as she loved children,and loved being around her family and would often brag to people about how good her family where to her.Also her other great grandson and his girlfriend had a baby girl 01 jan 2008 we all believe that these babies where her gifts to all of us.
We know that she is happy in heaven and looking after all the babies children and young people up there along with our grandad leslie who was the love of her life.
Well nan you are missed very much and not a day goes by I dont think about you God bless love and hugs Jacqui ,Jeff and 3 ChildrenXXXX

Want to wish you a happy new year,keep us safe this year we all miss you so much especially as your anniversary is in a couple of days nan but i know that you are where you wanted to be most with my beloved grandad. say hi to nan mary, auntie brenda and lauras babies. Also i thought a lot about Joan who passed recently tell her shes always in our thoughts and that we are sorry she felt so alone but shes with her loved ones now so no more pain or isolation.
As usual the christmas and new year was celebrated with noise and lots of family which is what you all loved.
Hope you liked the christmas tree and the little bell and all the gifts we left.

Well loads has happened since youve gone and i still think about you every day even though i cant always get to where you are lieing.We have just come back frm Norfolk which was great.
look after everyone especially my dad im grateful for the extra time weve had with him,but we need longer to make more memories (you know what i mean) look after Jeff ,but most of all look after all of us.
I miss now as much as i missed you then.

Hi all me again just checking in with you all hope things are good up there. Happy birthday Grandad spoke with mum today who never forgets your birthday you would have been celebrating 100 years if you would have still been with us.
Hi nan and auntie brenda hope you are keeping each other company,speak all the time to lynne who has moved to new zealand and is quite settled there you would have loved your grandchildren all doing so well for themselves.
Keep an eye on dad for me nan i know you want him there with you but we dont want to let him go.
Nanna Mary i think about what my life would have been like if you where here i have loved you and youd have loved all of us im sure, just went too young to see mum marry and grow up which is a shame, mum still misses and talks about you even after all these years and still remembers being 5.
lastly look after the twins who would be 2 in a few weeks time flies by so fast. speak again soon all my love Jacqui
ITS ME AGAIN

just wanted to say thanks for arranging for me to go on the course that ive always wantedd im enjoying it so much and it fits in nicely with my lifestyle.
Calum started nursery at the begining of the Month and hes loved it from the very start.
Caitlin and Liam are doing really well in school and youd be so proud of both of them Caitlin singing with the philharmonic at christmas and at the Echo Arena not many nine year olds can say that, Liam with his drawing and his maths ability way beyond his six years.
Most of all look after Dad i hate seeing him suffer like he is and have a feeling that you want him there with you but i want to be selfish and keep him here with us to enjoy at least a few more years but i want him well not suffering like he has been lately it seems so unfair at how much of a gentleman he is and doesnt do any harm to anyone yet is quite ill.I say a prayer for himand mum every day and i know god will do his best for him.
Lucas is still not well but i think they seem closer to finding out whats wrong with him and that makes Laura Happier.
A lot of nastiness has gone on in the family lately between different members hopefully we can sort it out.
Well as ever missing you a lot happy anniversary Grandad for weds seems like yesterday since i was with you and Auntie Brenda and nan,also nanna Mary look after us all even though we never met im sure id have loved you.

its been a long time

Sorry its been so long since ive written on here but such a lot has gone on and its nearly the end of 2010 again.
We went away in May and then again in August and just this last week have come back from 5 days in Centerparcs, dad enjoyed it but i think hes feeling the effects now.
Calum is much better now and im coping much better with him although you all probably know that already.
Lucas (Lauras Baby) is still undergoing tests please let him be okay.
Help me out with my wish for the course and help me find a solution to it.
Well if i told you everything id fill a page so for now goodnight and godbless and kiss the twins for me hope they are behaving for you.

Hi all well need a bit of guidance with Calum shine your light down on us here and show me the way, bet you sent the penny nan as they reckon angels send them from heaven to tell you they are near.Also make it good news from the medical im relying on that as things arent going to well at the moment. Im frightened of going back to that dark place again as its been far too stressful for the last two years and i think ive done my time and need a break i think you understand what i am talking about, keep sending dad those positive vibes and keep him strong also along with mum too as he needs her to stay strong too.i love and miss you evry day and think about you all the time and when i want to be neaer to you all i look at the photos and get lost in the memories. big hugs to Lauras twins. goodnight and godbless jacqui xxxxx

hi visited you all today and there where loads of flowers think mum and dads flowers for grandad where still going strong hope you are all havin fun up there.Probably no that we are goin away for the weekend and its caused loads of probs in the family help me to work it out as i am gettin blamed for somethin i havent done by bren but im sure things will be okay soon, miss ya all so much and will keep on visiting your plot and leaving little pressies there for ya , take care and give big kisses and cuddles to lauras twins bet their cheeky monkeys keepin ya on ya toes, they are in the best hands with all you lot there to look after them pass on Lauras love to them and tell them the wud have been loved lots by everyone here. see ya when i get there love Jacqui and family xxxx

happy new year to you all we had a big celebration one we never thought we would see with dad after being diagnosed with cancer but i realise you must be lookin after him.Hope you all had fun and a few vodkas i know you where fond of having a few drinks to ceelebrate new year.
You are all thought about and talked about all the time.
My kids had loads of fun at christmas and Liam loves the wii he cant get enough of it but thinks its just his we keep reminding him it was a shared pressie.
Hope you liked all the goodies i got you at christmas especially the wine gums, nan i think you have come back as a bird because i keep seeing a little robin every where i have gone and always hops in my direction and i keep seeing magpies and feathers as well.

Hi all hope your having a good time lookin after each other up there,i came to visit you the other day and was a bit upset that there wasnt a flower there but then realised that the grass had been cut and dad hasnt been well enough to get there to see you and mum relys on dad,i will visit again before christmas with my cards and the goodies i have for christmas for you, nan especially you loved christmas because your whole family got together and that made you really proud.Hope Laura s twins are behaving bet they are gorgeous Laura will tell Lucas all about them when he is bigger.
